FlutterCrafters is continuing to expand its ecosystem with a clear goal: building a fully integrated communication platform powered by modern, self-hosted infrastructure.

The next stage is focused on performance, scalability and independence from external voice or video providers for core communication features. This roadmap connects Sngine Messenger, voice calls, video calls and live streaming under one real-time communication environment.

Upcoming communication features

Built on top of Sngine Live Pro

These upcoming features will be built on top of Sngine Live Pro, which provides the self-hosted WebRTC and RTMP infrastructure required for real-time communication and live streaming directly on the client's own server.

This approach is important because it gives platform owners more control over their communication stack. Instead of depending on external calling or streaming providers for the future core communication layer, the system can use infrastructure owned and managed by the client.

What this means for Sngine Messenger

This roadmap is directly connected to Sngine Messenger. Messenger is the private communication layer for Sngine mobile users, while Sngine Live Pro is the advanced infrastructure for live rooms, streaming, WebRTC and RTMP workflows.

The plan is to make Messenger and Live Pro work together more deeply. Sngine Messenger will handle the chat and calling experience that users interact with every day, while Sngine Live Pro provides the self-hosted real-time engine behind advanced voice, video and room communication.

By using the same WebRTC foundation, future communication features can become more consistent across private Messenger calls, group communication rooms and live streaming experiences.

What about Agora?

Clients who prefer to continue using Agora will still be able to use the existing calling system currently available in the script.

However, upcoming advanced communication features, deeper live streaming integration and future calling enhancements will be designed around the Sngine Live Pro infrastructure and the self-hosted WebRTC environment.

Why self-hosted communication matters

A self-hosted communication stack gives platform owners more independence and a stronger foundation for custom features. It can also reduce long-term dependency on third-party provider limits, pricing changes or service restrictions.

For serious social networks, creator platforms and private communities, controlling the communication layer can be a major advantage. It allows the product to grow from simple private chat into a complete real-time platform.

The long-term goal

The goal is to build a complete ecosystem that combines social networking, Sngine Messenger, instant messaging, voice and video calling and live streaming into a single modern and scalable platform.
